The Perfect Lime Green Dress For Summer – Free People/Marshall’s

If you’ve been following me for a while you know I have a highkey obsession with Marshall’s. It’s such a great place to find big name brands within your budget. A lot of my friends always tell me how overwhelmed they feel when they walk into a store like Marshall’s. It’s a lot I know, but if you know where to go, you’ll find some amazing quality pieces.

If you are someone that gets overwhelmed with the quantity of items, I recommend going on a weekday. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the best days for me. Go in the middle of the day if you can, I like to take a break from work and go for 30 minutes or so to give my eyes a break from a laptop or my phone. Trust me, it’s worth it. Even if you’re not interested in the smaller brands. I’ve found some amazing brands like Michael Kohrs, Gucci (yes!), Addidas, Zara, Free People, and so many more!

I’ve also heard a huge myth, all of the items at Marshall’s, are things that are old or things that don’t sell at the original brands. Now, while this might be true for some things, there are a LOT of items that are on trend with things that are current in the fashion world. This is where having a good eye comes in.

This cute little Free People dress is by far one of my favorite pieces of clothing I have ever found. It is so darling! First of all the color makes you POP. I’ve only worn it a few times, but I’ve had strangers stop me to ask where it’s from every single time. You can wear it off the shoulder and on the shoulder. The little frills and the detail where your skin peeks through on your waist is my favorite. It’s so flattering for my curves as well! This dress retails for $128 and I found it for $29.99. I thought that was such a steal for a Free People dress! I found it right on the front rack, so no digging for this one. They had quite a few when I was there. So, RUN don’t walk for this dress! 🙂

My favorite part of the dress is how versatile it is. It’s dressy enough to wear to a wedding or keep it casual. You can wear it to a bridal shower, birthday parties, a date night, brunch, to the beach, literally anywhere! I styled mine here with some chocolate heels and a lavender backpack (also from Marshall’s!). Let me know where you would wear this!

Dress: Marshall’s – in store only. There are a few used ones online, but not at the price I found.

Shoes: Miss Lola – Audrina in Mocha
